Sometimes when we’re out planting, we end up making a mess… Oops!
We, as well as our partners, take time to clean up the lots that we use as staging areas and leave them just as we found them, in this case at Wyandotte Park.
We also took a look at the Watterson side of the south sound wall at the west end. To avoid any unnecessary blockage of the gate, we adjusted planting operations to commence on the other side of the wall.
On another note, if you see our signs, know that if there are any interruptions or slowing of traffic, that it wont be for long and you’ll have a beautiful green sound wall when were done!
Additionally, Carl Ray Nursery continued planting along the Watterson on the north side just past the ramp on Southern Parkway and on the south side of the sound wall near Stanley Avenue.
Finally, we received another shipment of big trees at our Bicknell staging area ready to be moved to their forever homes in the area.
