Happy Monday! Recently, we had crews working on the westbound side of the Watterson between the Southern Pkwy on ramp and the Taylor Blvd off ramp.
Operations conducted included the plant bed preparation and placement of trees.
Access to these locations will be primarily through the Wyandotte Park access gate to the west and on the Stanley Ave access gate to the east.
Bulk soil spreading activities are still being conducted throughout the week by accessing the planting beds from the I-264 shoulder.
Many plant, soil, and equipment deliveries are expected along with the continuation of dirt application.
In the past week we planted 105 trees between 8 different planting zones! Progress for Phase II is looking good with 298 trees installed to date. The focus next week will be on a multitude of operations.
